dancing with daisies

LindseyShine

I was highly skeptical of Bart when he wanted to take my picture with the beautiful daisies he got me, but even an incompetent subject couldn't stop his talent. He got some really great shots in, and I was (as always) truly amazed.

I met his parents and family today-- they were great! It went even better than I had hoped. Tomorrow is my little sister's graduation party- she is the cute brunette with pigtails seen below. I love her to death- she rocks my socks! And for the curious- here is a pic of Bart, too.

in the beginning...

I would like to thank Jane Austen for unknowingly allowing the thievery and manipulation of her beautiful words in the description of my title. To say I am enamored by her style and language would be a sad misrepresentation of my true feelings. So this is a formal thank you beyond the grave for her assistance in beginning this blog.

In this quest for unseen glories, otherwise known as my life, I hope to at least catch a glimpse. My God is the Creator if the Universe, and all glories are His. I want to see Him, to feel Him, to love Him, to know Him. He is my ultimate goal, my reason for being. So while I am here on His earth, let me seek Him and do His work-- that is where the glories lie.
